The Green Hills Head Start Program is
funded through a grant from the Administration for Children and Families (U.S.
Department of Health and Human Services). The Grant is awarded to the North
Central Missouri College to serve 277 children in the nine-county Green Hills
area, at least 10% of which have disabilities. These children are served in ten
Head Start Centers located in Bethany,
Brookfield, Chillicothe,
Hamilton,
Milan, Trenton, and
Unionville. Home Visitors serve families which are
located in the counties of Caldwell,
Daviess, Grundy,
Harrison, Linn,
Livingston, Mercer,
and Sullivan.
